Our Commitment to Foster Youth

It takes a village.
While today we are blessed in our lives, we did not start out that way. For both of us that village provided the opportunity for education, mentoring and opportunities to succeed. As part of the Jazz Series we have committed to providing resources at each event throughout the year to assist foster youth in our community. We are fortunate to be in partnership with the the THRU Project, which has been supporting foster youth and those agin out of the system since 2011. THRU Project provides youth with a history of foster care, ages 14 to 25, with a caring mentor, rent-free housing, mental health support, life skills workshops, bus passes and cell phones. Jazz on the Water will be donating $500 per show between January 2024 and December 2024, for a total of $6000. We hope you will join us in being that village by donating at one of our events or online here. |

Our Commitment to the Community
Jazz on the Water supports organizations across the community in a variety of ways including ticket donations, sponsorships and other partnerships. Organizations can submit their requests here and can expect an initial response within 5-10 business days.
